The majority of the band weren't satisfied with the initial results of these sessions, and by early 2012, Smith, Leetch, and Lay had asked Urbanowicz to leave Editors, when it became clear that the vision they had for the future of the band was not shared by their guitarist and founding member. By the time the In This Light and on This Evening promotional tour had ended in late 2010, the band had enough new songs to enter a London studio, with Flood once again behind the desk. number one album in a row, Smith immediately began to write material for a prospective fourth full-length. I can still select notes and change them, but the middle-C in my other scores is not there.Formed in 2003, Editors became one of the leading bands in the post-punk revival that swept America and England in the early 21st century. Wherever I place the pointer, this middle-C note goes with (follows) the pointer. I have found no solution so far.Īnother thing I am seeing - perhaps it is related - When I click on the pointer option (in the top of the score-editor) so I can point to (and select) items, there is a note that appears in the score where the pointer is located. I have watched some youtube videos on scoring. I have searched the Steinberg Forum, and done many Internet searches to try and find a solution. I have some changes to make to the song, so went back into the score-editor (but in Cubase 12 now, not Cubase 5.5) and I cannot select the lyric anywhere. I scored a lead sheet for a song in my prior version of Cubase (Cubase 5.5), then upgraded to Cubase 12 in 2022. I have a problem with selecting and therefore with changing lyrics in a score file.
